PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel provided with a sealing material which can seal a space between a magnet field generation part of a magnetic seal mechanism and a support part of a reel body without being affected by concentricity adjustment in a radius direction of the magnetic seal mechanism.SOLUTION: A fishing reel includes an annular elastic seal material 169 sealing a space between a magnetic field generation part 150A and a support part 1a of a reel body 1. A holding member 50 as the support part 1a of the reel body 1 has a recessed annular groove 70 open to its facing direction on its abutting surface 50d abutting a pole plate 152a of the magnetic field generation part 150A while facing each other. The annular groove 70 receives an elastic seal material 169 and has a pair of walls 70a, 70b in close contact with the elastic seal material 169 and holding the elastic seal material 169 from its radial direction when the pole plate 152a comes into contact with the holding member 50 to be fixed, on both sides thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
