Disclosed are a biopsy device and system for effectively collecting tissue samples by cutting human tissue. The biopsy device of the present invention consists of a needle, a cutter, a drive mechanism, a vacuum line and an air inlet line. In a biopsy device for collecting tissue samples by cutting tissue, the needle is provided with a sample collection port, configured to be communicated with a passageway on the outer surface neighboring a distal end, for a blocked proximal end, a distal end, a passageway and introduction of tissue. The cutter is arranged to be rotatable and translation-movable in the passageway of the needle, and is provided with a proximal end which is disposed in the passageway of the needle, a distal end which is disposed outside the passage of the needle, and a passageway which is in communication with the passageway of the needle. The drive mechanism rotates and translation-moves the cutter. The vacuum line is connected to the passageway of the cutter for suction of tissue and tissue samples. The air inlet line connects the passageway of the needle and the atmosphere out of the needle to create the inside of the passageway of a needle neighboring the rear end of the transporting direction of a tissue sample when sucking the tissue sample at atmospheric pressure. The biopsy system of the present invention comprises: a vacuum source connected to the vacuum line; and a solenoid actuator for closing and opening the passageway by pressing and releasing a flexible tube of the air inlet line. The present invention creates the atmospheric pressure at the rear end of the transporting direction of a tissue sample while creating a low pressure at the front end of the transporting direction of the tissue sample by suction of the vacuum source, thereby generating a pressure difference between the front end and the rear end of the transporting direction of the tissue sample, and thus has an effect of smoothly transporting tissue samples.L'invention concerne
