Oligodextran comprising dextran whose polymerization degree is less than 10, modified by at least one amino acid-containing compound (I), is new. Oligodextran comprising dextran whose polymerization degree is less than 10, modified by at least one amino acid-containing compound of formula (-R1-[[AA]-[R2] n] m) (I) with a substitution degree: (j) of 0.01-2.9; and (i) of 0.1-3, is new. AA : amino acid residue located in a backbone of dextran connected to a linker -R1- or optionally bearing a radical -[R2] n; R1 : 1-15C carbon chain comprising optionally substituted heteroatom such as O, N and S or optionally a carboxylic acid function, where R1 forms an amide bond with the amino acid residue [AA], and is directly attached to the backbone of dextran by a connection of the ester, carbamate or ether group; -[R2] noptionally substituted 1-18C carbon chain, where R2 is hydrophobic acid or alcohol; and n, m : 0-2, where the free salifiable functions are in the form of a cation. An independent claim is included for a pharmaceutical composition comprising oligosaccharide and an active ingredient comprising proteins, glycoproteins, peptides and non-peptide therapeutic molecules.
