The invention relates to compositions comprising at least about 500 mg of citric acid at least about 500 mg of malic acid and at least about 100 mg of N-acetylcysteine, or at least about 100 mg of α-lipoic acid, or a mixture thereof and methods for use of the compositions thereof.
