The present invention discloses a use of fungal sporocarp in manufacture of composition for treating bacterial gastroenteritis. In view of the fact that Staphylococcus aureusis found to exhibit antibiotic resistance in Staphylococcus aureusinfectious disease treating agents such as penicillin, methicillin and vancomycin, inventors of the present invention develop a composition made of SACCHACHITIN for use in effectively inhibiting the growth or causing death of Staphylococcus aureu, wherein the said SACCHACHITIN is made of sporocarp fibers extracted from an edible fungus. Moreover, experimental data of animal experiments have proved that, the SACCHACHITIN with an adult dosage of at least 96.9 mg/day shows the capability of inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureu. Therefore, experiment result supports the fact of the use of fungal sporocarp in manufacture of composition for treating bacterial gastroenteritis.本發明提出一種食藥用真菌的子實體纖維於製備治療細菌性腸胃炎之組合物的用途。特別地,不同於習用的抗生素(penicillin、methicillin或vancomycin)之長期使用容易導致金黃葡萄球菌的突變株展現出明顯的抗藥性,本發明將食藥用真菌的子實體纖維--塞卡績汀(SACCHACHITIN)應用作為抑制金黃葡萄球菌生長或致死金黃葡萄球菌之有效組合物。並且,動物實驗係證實,對於受到金黃葡萄球菌感染之成人,成人劑量為至少每日96.9 mg的食藥用真菌的子實體纖維 「SACCHACHITIN」有顯著抑制腸道中金黃葡萄球菌之菌落數量之功效,因此具有於製備治療細菌性腸胃炎之組合物的用途。
