PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control material which controls pests such as various bacteria, fungi and termites, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: This pest control material contains a CaO-Al2O3-B2O3 based hydrate. When the pest control material is used, an excellent anti-bacterial/anti-fungal property, an anti-termite property, and the like can be imparted to a base material. The pest control material is suitable for pest control material uses for controlling pests such as various bacteria, fungi and termites by a method for mixing with a cement/concrete because of little affecting the hydration curing and strength expression of the cement, a method for adding to a resin, a plastic, a coating or the like, or a method for mixing with wood chips and then molding the mixture to form the false-wood having the anti-bacterial/anti-fungal property and the anti-termite property.COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI【課題】 雑菌、カビ、及び白蟻等の有害生物を駆除する有害生物駆除材とその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】CaO-Al2O3-B2O3系水和物を含有する有害生物駆除材。 本発明の有害生物駆除材を使用することにより、母材に優れた抗菌・抗カビ性及び防白蟻性等を付与することができる。また、従来の抗菌・抗カビ性及び防白蟻性を有する物質の課題であった、セメントの水和硬化や強度発現への影響が少ない等の効果を奏するため、例えば、セメント・コンクリートに混和する方法、樹脂、プラスチック、又は塗料等に添加する方法、木材チップと混ぜてそれを成形し、抗菌・抗カビ性及び防白蟻性を有する擬似木材とする方法等で雑菌、カビ、及び白蟻等の有害生物を駆除する有害生物駆除材用途に適する。【選択図】なし
