PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional lubricant that can be prepared with saving the time and effort of stirring or addition.SOLUTION: The functional lubricant of the present invention is obtained by adding carbonate and carboxylic acid into an aqueous solution containing sodium polyacrylate, polyethylene oxide or a mixture thereof.
