The present invention relates to a novel group of compounds, a method for preventing or treating viral infections in animals by using the novel compounds, and more preferably viral infections, in particular RNA viruses, used as pharmaceuticals. The present invention relates to the above novel compounds used as pharmaceuticals for treating or preventing infections, more particularly infections caused by viruses belonging to the Flaviviridae family, and more particularly infections caused by dengue viruses. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions or complex preparations of the novel compounds and to compositions or preparations used as pharmaceuticals, more preferably for preventing or treating viral infections. The invention also relates to a method of preparing the compound.
