PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of effectively presenting a change in the respiration state to a user.SOLUTION: A respiration state presentation method includes: importing respiration information of a user from a sensor 2 to detect a respiratory cycle from the respiration information, and determining whether or not the detected respiratory cycle is within a target value stored in a target value DB 231 and when the detected respiratory cycle is within the target value, adding a constant value s to a score, reading avatar growth information corresponding to the score after the addition from an avatar growth DB 2321 to display it on a display part 24 and, when the detected respiratory cycle is outside the range of the target value, subtracting the constant value s from the score, reading avatar decline information corresponding to the score after the subtraction from an avatar decline DB 2322 to display it on the display part 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
