A glycoconjugate vaccine is provided. The present invention provides a composition comprising a combination of two or more monovalent conjugates. Each of the two or more monovalent conjugates includes a carrier protein containing a T cell epitope derived from two or more pathogens bound to a saccharide antigen. The invention also provides multivalent conjugates comprising two or more antigenically different saccharide antigens bound to the same carrier protein molecule. In this case, the carrier protein includes T cell epitopes derived from two or more pathogens. Further compositions include one or more of the above monovalent conjugates and one or more of the above multivalent conjugates. The invention further provides a method for making the composition and the use of the composition. Examples include conjugates of N19 carrier protein to meningococcal oligosaccharides.
