PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paracentesis device and a paracentesis method capable of realizing accurate and sufficient paracentesis when a living tissue is subjected to the paracentesis.SOLUTION: A paracentesis device 1 comprises a paracentesis needle 11 for puncturing a living tissue which has a long shape and may be deformed to make a curve, and a curvature modifying part 14 modifying curvature of the paracentesis needle 11 during a process of puncturing the living tissue with the paracentesis needle 11.
