PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical illumination device capable of: fixing an illuminating position while preventing displacement of the illumination position during use of a light projection part and easily retracting the light projection part with light operation force during non-use of the light projection part.SOLUTION: At a tip of a first arm 11 which is horizontally rotatable, a second arm 12 including a light projection part is connected via a hinge member 20 so as to rotate vertically.
