PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image photographing system allowing proper recognition of a photographing room wherein an FPD (Flat Panel Detector) cassette is present of a plurality of photographing rooms and allowing control, even if tag readers for registration, cradles or the like are provided in the photographing rooms.SOLUTION: This radiation image photographing system 50 includes: the plurality of photographing rooms Ra each including a bucky device 51 capable of being charged with the FPD cassette 1, and a radiation source 52 radiating radiation onto the FPD cassette 1 the FPD cassettes 1 each capable of being brought into the photographing room Ra, and each including communication means 41 and consoles 58 each capable of controlling the FPD cassette 1.
