PURPOSE: A composition for mitochondria functional regulation including necrox-5 is provided to treat arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, cardiac failure and ischemic heart damage by secluding mitochondria calcium channel. CONSTITUTION: A composition for mitochondria functional regulation includes necrox-5 as an effective ingredient. The necroX-5 is represented by chemical formula 1. The necroX-5 is 5-(1,1-Dioxo-thiomorpholin-4-ylmethyl)-2-phenyl-1H-indol-7-yl-(tetrahydro-pyran-4-ylmethyl) -amine. The necrox-5 controls the function of mitochondria by secluding a mitochondria calcium channel. The composition treats and prevents arrhythmia, ventricular fibrillation, disease of cardiac failure or ischemic heart damage. The mitochondria calcium channel blocker includes necrox-5 as the active ingredient.본 발명은 NecroX-5를 유효성분으로 포함하는 미토콘드리아 기능 조절용 조성물로서, 상기 NecroX-5는 미토콘드리아 칼슘통로를 차단함으로써 미토콘드리아의 기능을 조절하므로 부정맥, 심실세동, 심부전 및 허혈성 심장손상 등을 치료하는 효과가 있다.
