A cap for a drug delivery device is provided, the cap comprising a main body and at least one indication element which is moveably retained in the main body, wherein the indication element is configured to be moved from a first position to a second position with respect to the main body, and wherein an information indicated to a user by the cap is changed when the indication element is moved from the first position into the second position.
