PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the flip angle of refocus RF pulses in an FSE sequence so as to be able to obtain an image with contrast equivalent to a conventional FSE sequence in which the flip angle of RF pulses is kept constant at 180° while the SAR is reduced.SOLUTION: When an image is captured using an imaging sequence in which a 180°-FSE sequence having refocus RF pulses with a flip angle of 180° is combined with a VRFA-FSE sequence having refocus RF pulses with a variable flip angle of 180° or less, the 180°-FSE sequence is used for measurement of echo signals to fill a low-frequency region of a k-space, and the VRFA-FSE sequence is used for measurement of echo signals to fill a high-frequency region of the k-space.
