The present invention provides a novel rhamnolipid compound, an optical isomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The novel rhamnolipid compound, the optical isomer thereof, or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof according to the present invention exhibits cytotoxicity on human cancer cell lines to inhibit the growth of cancer cells, thereby having an excellent prevention or treatment effect on cancer, especially cancer mentioned above.본 발명은, 신규 람노리피드 화합물, 이의 광학이성질체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용가능한 염을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 신규 람노리피드 화합물, 이의 광학이성질체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용가능한 염은 인간 암 세포주에 대한 세포 독성을 나타내어 암 세포의 성장을 억제함으로써, 특히 위 언급된 암에 대하여 우수한 예방 또는 치료 효과를 가진다.
