The object of the present invention provides a manufacturing method and a deodorizing processed product of an aldehyde based gas deodorant which is excellent in safety, with high aldehyde deodorizing performance and negative mutagenicity. The above mentioned object may be accomplished by the manufacturing method of the aldehyde based gas deodorant having a negative result of mutagenicity by the AMES test, which is containing a step of preparing a deodorant composition including hydrous inorganic powder and dihydrazide compounds and water; a step of heating the deodorant composition at a temperature above 45℃ and below 90℃ such that the water remaining in the deodorant is above 4.5 mass percent. Additionally, this invention provides the deodorizing processed product which is obtained by post-processing the deodorant manufactured by the manufacturing method.本發明之課題在於提供醛消臭性能高、致突變性為陰性之安全性優異的醛系氣體消臭劑之製造方法及消臭加工製品。上述課題係藉由醛系氣體消臭劑之製造方法達成,該製造方法係包含:製備含有二醯肼化合物與含水無機質粉體與水之消臭組成物的步驟;及將前述消臭組成物以45℃以上90℃以下的溫度加熱使在消臭劑全體之中殘存水分為4.5質量%以上之步驟,且該醛系氣體消臭劑利用AMES試驗測得之致突變性為陰性。又,也提供將藉由此製造方法所製造之消臭劑後加工的消臭加工製品。
