597177 Disclosed herein are crystalline polymorphs A and B of (2S)-(4E)-N-methyl-5-[3-(5-isopropoxypyridin)yl]-4-penten-2-amine p-hydroxybenzoate exhibiting an X-ray powder diffraction pattern as defined in the specification. Additionally disclosed is the polymorph when isolated by recrystallization from ethanol, methanol, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate or acetonitrile. Additionally disclosed is the use of the polymorph in the treatment of a central nervous system disorder.
