SOLUTION: A pyrazolyl-substituted pyridone compound exhibiting an inhibitory effect on serine protease, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same. Further provided are methods of treating and preventing certain diseases or disorders, which are suitable for treatment or prevention by inhibition of serine proteases, including thrombin and various kallikreins.
