FIELD: biology methods of research.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physicochemical methods of studying biological material and may be used in transfusiology to determine the suitability of the canned erythrocytic suspension (ES) for transfusion. Method of assessing the suitability of ES for carrying out blood transfusion involves measuring the local Youngs modulus of erythrocyte membranes (EM) using atomic force spectroscopy and nanosurface parameters of membranes using atomic force microscopy: diameter, height. In this case, a simulation of the process of blood flow in the bloodstream is performed by rotation of a 5 ml portion of ES in a thermostat at 36–37 °C with a rotation speed of 6–8 rpm for 25–30 min, measure the local Youngs modulus and the parameters of the nanosurface of the EM if these values lie in the range of control values: a local Youngs modulus of 40–70 kPa, a diameter of nanostructures of 30–150 nm, a height of 1–10 nm, then a conclusion is made about the suitability of this ES for blood transfusion if the values of the local Youngs modulus and the parameters of the nanosurface of membranes go beyond the range of control values, then the ES rotation is continued for 12 hours, the parameters are repeatedly measured, when the parameters are restored to the reference values, a conclusion is made about the suitability of the ES, and in the case of non-recovery to control values, a conclusion is made that ES is not suitable for blood transfusion.EFFECT: invention provides a refinement of the parameters of the shelf-life of canned ES for transfusion, especially when mass transfusion is necessary.1 cl, 3 ex, 6 dwgИзобретение относится к физико-химическим способам исследования биологического материала и может быть использовано в трансфузиологии для определения пригодности консервированной эритроцитарной взвеси (ЭВ) к переливанию.
