FIELD: biology methods of research.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physicochemical methods of studying biological material and may be used in transfusiology to determine the suitability of the canned erythrocytic suspension (ES) for transfusion. Method of assessing the suitability of ES for carrying out blood transfusion involves measuring the local Youngs modulus of erythrocyte membranes (EM) using atomic force spectroscopy and nanosurface parameters of membranes using atomic force microscopy: diameter, height.
