Provided is an insertion instrument whereby it is possible to improve stabilization of the behavior of an intraocular lens. This intraocular lens insertion instrument is provided with: a substantially cylindrical instrument main body having on the leading end thereof an insertion cylinder part for inserting an intraocular lens intraocularly in a folded state, said intraocular lens comprising a lens main body and elongated support parts each with one end connected to the lens main body; a housing part which houses the intraocular lens such that the same can be positioned within the instrument main body; and an intraocular lens pushing member which slides within the instrument main body, moves the intraocular lens to the insertion cylinder part, and pushes the intraocular lens out into the eye. An orientation regulation means for regulating the orientation of at least the one end portion of a support part when the intraocular lens moves in the insertion cylinder part is disposed on the outer periphery face of the leading end part of the intraocular lens pushing member.
