Disclosed is technology for integrating three dimensional ultrasound images. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of image data which three-dimensionally represent spatial areas of interest at different locations are acquired. An apparatus for integrating three-dimensional ultrasound images: performs a diagnosis for each of the acquired image data based on parameters for detection detects landmark candidates which have volumes more than or equal to a predetermined reference value and one or more characteristics which make the landmark candidates distinguished from environs thereof. For example, detection results can be outputted to a user through a display and the user can examine the detection results and input information representing appropriate landmarks or the like through an input device such as a touch panel.
