PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble fluorescence label material which is capable of light emission in a near-infrared region suitable for in-vivo imaging with high efficiency and stably.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a fluorescence label material having a structure in which a block copolymer coats one or plurality of silicon nano crystal which includes a diamond structure and has its surface coated with a hydrocarbon film.
