To provide a crop cap facilitating watering work, and to provide a cap fixing skewer hard to come OFF from a seedling bed and fixing the crop cap to a seedling bed so as not to be blown OFF by a wind.
SOLUTION: This crop cap 10 is obtained by unitedly forming a peripheral wall surface 11 with a cross section of a nearly circular shape and a ceiling plane 12 continuing from the upper end of the peripheral wall surface 11, in a dome form by a translucent plastic material and forming a VENT hole 12a ON the ceiling plane 12. The VENT hole 12a is formed near the top of the ceiling plane 12, and the peripheral wall surface 11 and the ceiling plane 12 are formed to continue to each other through a bending part 14. The ceiling plane 12 becomes a recessed form by pushing the central part of the ceiling plane 12 of a projecting form into the inside and the ceiling plane 12 becomes a projecting form by pushing the central part of the ceiling plane 12 of a recessed form into the outside. Since a projecting part 21c of a skewer piece 21a driven into a seedling bed 22 is caught in soil of the seedling bed 22, dried and hardened after watering or rainfall and the crop caps 10 and 10A are free from coming OFF from the seedling bed even when a wind pressure acts thereon.
