The present invention relates to a lock for a portable wireless device (4) designed to be in contact with an accepting device (3) having fixing means (20) for fixing the portable device (4) to the accepting device (3). The lock of the invention comprises an electromechanical system (48) for unlocking the fixing means (20) using an electrical signal (44). The electrical signal (44) is inhibited by a command (45) supplied by a software unit (1).
