PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a predisposition to pediatric solid tumor or esophageal cancer, an evaluation kit, an agent for the same, and a method for selecting the same.SOLUTION: The method for determining whether or not a subject has the predisposition capable of generating pediatric solid tumor or esophageal cancer has a process of detecting a mutation of an ALK gene using a sample containing a human gene of the subject. Regarding the detection of the mutation of the ALK gene, when the SNP or genetic polymorphism having a relation of linkage disequilibrium to the same is detected, particularly the existence of the SNP generating amino acid mutation of either one of A1280V, R1192G and A876T is detected, one can evaluate that the subject has the predisposition capable of generating pediatric solid tumor or esophageal cancer.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】小児固形腫瘍または食道癌の素因を評価する方法及び評価キット、また、その薬剤及びその選択方法を提供すること。【解決手段】 小児固形腫瘍または食道癌を生じ得る素因を有するか否かを評価する方法において、被験者のヒト遺伝子を含む試料を用い、ALK遺伝子の変異を検知する工程を有する。ALK遺伝子変異の検知としては、そのSNPまたはそれと連鎖不均衡の関係にある遺伝子多型を検知し、特に、A1280V、R1192G、A876Tのいずれかのアミノ酸変異を生じさせるSNPがある場合に、小児固形腫瘍または食道癌を生じ得る素因を有すると評価してもよい。【選択図】図2
