PURPOSE: A sealing fiber is provided to enable a rapid and accurate sealing operation for narrow surgical operation regions when a single tool such as laparoscope is used. CONSTITUTION: A sealing fiber(10) comprises a supporter(40). The supporter has a larger diameter than the sealing fiber. The supporter comprises one or more holes passing through both ends of the supporter. The diameter of the holes is larger than the thickness of the sealing fiber. The supporter is formed of nylon, polypropylene, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyester, stainless steel, or titanium.
