PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunological composition which does confer protective immunity against PCV2 infection and lessens the severity of or prevents the clinical symptoms associated therewith.SOLUTION: An improved method for recovering a protein expressed by open reading frame 2 from porcine circovirus type 2 is provided. Also recombinant PCV2 ORF2 protein and immunogenic compositions comprising PCV2 ORF2 protein are provided. Moreover, multivalent combination vaccines are provided which include an immunological agent effective for reducing the incidence of PCV2 infection or lessening the severity of PCV2 infection, preferably PCV2 ORF2 or an immunogenic composition comprising PCV2 ORF2 protein, and at least one immunogenic active component of another disease-causing organism in swine.【課題】PCV2感染に対する防御免疫を確かに付与し、前記に付随する臨床症状の重篤度を緩和するか、又は前記臨床症状を予防する免疫原性組成物の提供。【解決手段】ブタシルコウイルス2型のオープンリーディングフレーム2によって発現されるタンパク質の回収を目的とする改良方法が提供される。さらにまた、提供されるものは、組換えPCV2 ORF2タンパク質及びPCV2 ORF2タンパク質を含む免疫原性組成物である。さらにまた、PCV2感染の発生率を減少させるか又はPCV2感染の重篤度を緩和するために有効な免疫学的作用物質（好ましくはPCV2 ORF2又はPCV2 ORF2タンパク質を含む免疫原性組成物）及びブタでまた別の疾患を引き起こす生物の少なくとも1つの免疫原性活性成分を含む多価混合ワクチンが提供される。【選択図】なし
