Disclosed are a method for managing a medical suction device through a network and a management server used for same. The present invention is enabled by the management server, which is provided with a saving unit in which operation information of at least one medical suction device is saved, performing the steps of: generating an operation initiation-determining reference value for the medical suction device on the basis of the operation information； receiving patient state information from the medical suction device installed outside； and determining whether to initiate operation of the medical suction device that has transmitted the patient state information, on the basis of the operation initiation-determining reference value and the patient state information. According to the present invention, by controlling medical suction devices installed at a plurality of places through the management server in possession of an analysis value for accumulated information on operation data of the medical suction devices, accurate operation of the medical suction devices and timeliness of rescue treatment for the patient can be secured.
