PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer capable of intuitively presenting not only a blood pressure value but also a state in the middle of blood pressure measurement.
SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer 1 has a signal processing part 16 comprising a pulse wave filter 31 for extracting pulse wave components, a quintuple amplifier 33 for amplifying the pulse wave components, and a pressure filter 32 for extracting blood pressure components. A CPU 20 displays pressure component display 111 indicating a cuff pressure at present, pulse wave component display 112 indicating the size of the pulse wave at present, and mercury column display 110 composed of the scale 113 of a mercury column on the measured result display screen 100 of a display part 19 by executing measured result display processing. Especially, the pressure component display 111 corresponding to the blood pressure component is displayed at the base part of the mercury column display 110, and the pulse wave component display 112 corresponding to pulse change is displayed at the upper end in a different color.
