The present invention provides a pharmaceuticalcomposition for treating a fungal infection, comprising anarylamidine derivative or a salt thereof, represented by thefollowing general formula:(see above formula)wherein R1 represents an amidino group which optionally issubstituted with a hydroxyl group which optionally isprotected with an acyl group, an amidino group whichoptionally is substituted with an alkoxy group whichoptionally is substituted, or an amidino group whichoptionally is substituted with an aralkyloxy group whichoptionally is substituted； and R2 and R3 are the same ordifferent, and each independently represents a hydrogen atomor a halogen atom； and an agent which is an azole antifungalagent, a polyene antifungal agent, a candin antifungalagent, a fluoropyrimidine antifungal agent or aimmunosuppressant, or any combination thereof.
