PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating cancer, which comprises administering glufosfamide and gemcitabine in combination.SOLUTION: Glufosfamide is administered for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or more than 8 dosage cycles, each cycle comprises an infusion of glufosfamide in the predetermined range.
