PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding body and a bush cutter with the same in which mowing work can be performed by small labor, and abrasion of a rotary blade, fuel consumption and entanglement of weed during working can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A grounding body 1 is connected to a drive shaft 95 of a bush cutter 9 so as to be integrally rotated with a rotary blade 8. The grounding body 1 includes a mounting bracket 2 having a blade support side 210 for receiving one side of the rotary blade 8, a cylindrical body 4 connected to the mounting bracket 2, and a bowl-shaped flange part 5 extending from an axial end of a cylindrical body 4 in a radially outward direction.
