ONE ASPECT OF THE INVENTION IS A PLANE OR PLANT CELL TRANSFECTED BY A VECTOR OF THE PRESENT INVENTION. ONE ASPECT OF THE INVENTION RELATES TO ISOLATED NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULES AND FRAGMENTS THEREOF ENCODING ENZYMES OR PROTEINS INVOLVED IN DISEASE RESISTANCE IN JUTE.
