<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding catheter in a new structure, capable of guiding a catheter for treatment by getting closer to a treatment part, reducing the number of proximal end side devices, and thereby shortening a catheter length. <；P>；SOLUTION: The monorail type catheter 14 to be inserted to a guiding catheter 16 includes: an insertion tube 24 projected from the distal end side opening 64 of the guiding catheter 16 to insert the catheter 18 for treatment； and a wire 26 extended from the proximal end side of the insertion tube 24 and projected from the proximal end side opening 65 of the guiding catheter 16.
