PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for mounting a versatile ultrasonography probe being easily and surely mountable without using a mounting member even when shapes of the ultrasonography probes are different in some degree.SOLUTION: A mounting spacer 10 consisting of a gel elastic body having adhesiveness, includes a probe end covering part 1a for covering an end of the ultrasonography probe, and adhesive fixing parts 1b that are consecutively provided at both sides of the probe end covering part 1a and are adhesively fixed to the outer surface of the probe. The thickness D2 of the adhesive fixing part 1b is defined thinner than the thickness D1 of the probe end covering part 1a. The thickness D2 of the adhesive fixing part 1b is formed thinner than the thickness D1 of the probe end covering part 1a so as to improve flexibility and plasticity of the adhesive fixing part 1b. Consequently, the spacer is mounted while flexibly deforming the adhesive fixing part 1b following the uneven shape of the outer surface of the probe and surely sticking the adhesive fixing part thereto by adhesive force of the gel elastic body without using the mounting member.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】超音波診断用探触子の形状が多少異なっていても、取付け部材を使用しないで簡単かつ確実に装着できる汎用性のある超音波診断用探触子の装着用スペーサーを提供する。【解決手段】粘着性を有するゲル弾性体からなる装着用スペーサー10であって、超音波診断用探触子の先端を被覆する探触子先端被覆部1aと、探触子先端被覆部1aの両側に連設され且つ探触子の外面に粘着固定される粘着固定部1bを備え、粘着固定部1bの厚さD2が探触子先端被覆部1aの厚さD1よりも薄い構成とする。粘着固定部1bの厚さD2を探触子先端被覆部1aの厚さD1より薄くすることで粘着固定部1bの可撓性、柔軟性を向上させ、粘着固定部1bを探触子の外面の起伏形状に追従して可撓変形させながら、取付け部材を使用しないでゲル弾性体の粘着力で確実に粘着させて、スペーサーを装着する。【選択図】図2
