PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transplantation hand units which can arrange the entire root of a seedling extending and spreading outward from the lower surface of a seedbed piece and which can insert the entire root into a hole of a transplanting destination, at the time of transplantation.SOLUTION: A transplantation hand unit 20 is provided in a transplanting device that transplants a seedling S so as to be able to pinch a seedbed piece N in which seedling S is planted, and comprises a first hand 40 which transplants the pinched seedbed piece N, and a second hand 50 that can be contacted with a root Ne of the seedling S so as to pinch the root Ne of the seedling S, in order to align the root Ne of the seedling S spreading and extending outward from the lower surface of the seedbed piece N pinched by the first hand 40.
