PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition that expresses a sufficient and excellent penile erection function by administering a low dose of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor having few side effects to the middle-aged and the elderly suffering from ED and highly frequently taking anti-anginal agents and anti-hypertensive agents.SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition contains a PDE5 inhibitor and trehalose or its derivative.
