PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the problem that as a leveling device set in front of a float of a seedling planting device is used on the rugged rough soil surface such as levee side and headland but is not used on normal comparatively smooth soil surface so the leveling device is formed switchable to be lifted and lowered against the seedling planting device, but, when seedling planting work is performed in a state of conducting rotation even in a state in which the leveling device is lifted at a nonworking position, the leveling device interacts with the seedling device and thereby danger is caused.
SOLUTION: The seedling planting machine is freely liftably equipped with a seedling planting device 1 having a float 2, on a rear part of a body 11 through a lift link 19, wherein a leveling device 3 positioned front side of the float 2 is set to be switchable from a leveling action position E to a storing position F by operation of an operation lever 51 and conduction to the levering device 3 is cut in relation to the switching of the leveling device 3 to the storing position F by operation of the operation lever 51.
