To provide a drug volatilizer and container for drug that keeps the size of drug volatilizer to the size of a container for drug that accommodates the drug, and, moreover, that allows an easy check of the remaining amount of drug while enjoying the dynamic taste.SOLUTION: The drug volatilizer 10 includes: a drug 12 in which the volatile component volatilizes and the volume shrinks； and a container for drug 14 accommodating the drug 12. The container for drug 14 includes: a container body 20 having an opening and accommodating the drug 12； and a lid plate 22 having a surface plate part 2206 that covers the opening and has a volatilization hole 2208 formed therein. The container body 20 is provided with an engaging part 16 that engages to a part of the drug 12.
