PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a cord material by easily inserting, drawing and pulling out through a cord insertion opening from outside, easily attaching/detaching the cord to/from a head body, easily adjusting the length of the cord extending outward and easily using a short or long cord.SOLUTION: A pair of presser rolls 13 supported by shafts 10 projecting from the upper surface of a bottom wall are disposed in a cord holding mechanism setting place of the head body 1, where a cord holding mechanism 20 is set. The cord holding mechanism 20 brings the rolls 13 close to each other with the energization force of a spring 15, and holds a cord between the closest parts of the rolls. An engaging projection 18 is disposed on the upper surface of each roll 13, and a slot into which a connection part 29 connecting a cord releasing operation knob and a cord releasing part 28 is fitted is disposed on an upper cover 3 covering a body case 2, so that the cord releasing operation knob is slidable. When the cord is released, the cord releasing part 28 is fitted between the engaging projections 18 of the both rolls 13 to separate the rolls 13 from each other, so that the held cutting blade cord is released.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】外部からコード挿通用開口を通じて、コードの挿入、引き出し、引き抜きを簡単に行えて、ヘッド本体に対するコードの装着脱と張り出すコードの長さ調節を行い易く、長い又は短いコードを使用し易くして、コード資材を有効利用する。【解決手段】ヘッド本体1のコード挟持機構設置箇所に、底壁上面に突設した軸10により支持された押圧ロール13を一対配置し、スプリング15の付勢力により両ロール13を接近させ、その最接近部分間でコードを挟持するコード挟持機構20を設置し、両ロール13の上面に係合用突部18を設け、本体ケース20を被う上カバー3に、コード解除操作つまみとコード解除部28とを連結する連結部29が嵌まる長穴を設けてスライド可能にし、コード解除時に、両ロール13の係合用突部18間にコード解除部28を嵌めて、両ロール13間を離し、刈刃コードの挟持を解除する。【選択図】図1
