PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a residual liquor after distillation of Shochu, which efficiently recovers valuables by noticing that a great variety of valuables caused by fermentation is contained in the residual liquor after distillation of Shochu since ocean dumping, soil reduction or addition to livestock feed is carried out as a method for treating a residual liquor after distillation of Shochu, however, there are many problems in each method, in more detail, a method for drying a residual liquor after distillation of Shochu, which stably recovers powder even by spray drying and recovers powder containing valuables caused by fermentation and a dried residual liquor after distillation of Shochu.

SOLUTION: The residual liquor after distillation of Shochu is obtained by spray-drying a solution obtained by adding a calcium salt and/or magnesium salt to a residual liquor after distillation of Shochu. A residual liquor after distillation of Shochu using muscovado is used as a raw material.
