PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic molding support device capable of preventing deformation at an initial stage of supporting a ceramic molding.SOLUTION: A support part 13 raised in order to bring a receiving base 7 to an area directly under an extruder 3. Note that a ceramic molding 25 is continuously extruded from the extruder 3. When the ceramic molding 25 contacts the receiving base 7 (including a receiving jig 9) standby at a predetermined position, the receiving base 7 moves down with respect to the support base 13 together with the downward movement of the ceramic molding 25 while the support part 13 holds the position. Specifically, due to compressive deformation of an elastic body 11, a gap between the receiving base 7 and the support part 13 becomes narrower. When the receiving base 7 moves down by a predetermined amount or more, the support part 11 starts downward movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
