The present invention relates to a wheelchair lift apparatus comprising: a door disposed on both side doors of the vehicle； a first hydraulic cylinder and an elevating footplate installed to the door； an accessing footplate inserted into or extracted from the elevating footplate； a second hydraulic cylinder to fix the opened door on the ground； a pneumatic cylinder to open and close the door； and first and second sensors to detect a position of the elevating footplate. According to the present invention, when the vehicle accesses a footpath having a curbstone, the door is opened, the elevating footplate of the lift apparatus is adjusted, and the access footplate extracted from the elevating footplate is sufficiently mounted on the upper surface of the curbstone, or the elevating footplate is descended to the ground not having a curbstone, such that a disabled person sitting on a wheelchair is safely lifted to a door sill of the vehicle without inconvenience, thereby providing advantages of largely reducing a getting-on/off time of a disabled person with a wheelchair and effectively using the lift apparatus in accordance with a current road situation.본 발명은 휠체어 리프트장치에 관한 것으로서, 차량 측면측 출입구에 양측으로 마련되는 출입도어 및 이 출입도어에 제1유압실린더와 승강발판, 승강발판으로부터 인출가능한 진입발판, 개방된 출입도어를 지면으로 고정시키는 제2유압실린더, 출입도어를 여닫는 공압실린더 및 승강발판의 위치를 감지하는 제1 및 제2감지센서의 구성으로써, 경계석이 있는 보행로에 이동 차량의 진입, 출입도어의 개방, 리프트장치의 승강발판의 승강 조정과 진입발판을 승강발판으로부터 인출하여 경계석의 상면에 충분히 안착시킬 수 있거나, 혹은 경계석이 없는 지면으로부터 승강발판을 하강시켜 휠체어를 탄 장애인을 불편함이 없이 차량의 문턱까지 안전하게 리프팅시켜 승, 하차할 수 있기 때문에 휠체어를 동반한 장애인 승하차 시간을 대폭 줄이고, 현 도로사정에 맞게 리프트장치를 효과적으로 사용할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
