PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of supporting smooth business cooperation between medical workers.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes: a portable terminal 6 to be carried by a medical worker a nurse call master unit 5 for responding to a call from the portable terminal 6 and a headset 7 wearable on the head of a medical worker. The portable terminal 6 includes a terminal transmission section 65 for transmitting a master unit calling signal for calling the nurse call master unit 5 to the nurse call master unit 5 in response to a predetermined operation. The nurse call master unit 5 includes a master unit transmission section 55 for transmitting a start signal for starting a business cooperation support function to the portable terminal 6 in response to a predetermined operation when a master unit calling signal is received.
