A method for controlling a washing machine according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) feeding, into an inner tub, a detergent contained in a dispenser, together with water; (b) operating a pump so as to deliver the water fed together with the detergent to a plurality of nozzles disposed on the upper side of the inner tub; and (c) further feeding water into the inner tub, operating the pump while the water is fed, and rotating the inner tub such that the laundry contained in the inner tub sticks to the inner surface of the inner tub by centrifugal force.
