PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device in which a humidification amount can be lowered while enhancing sterilizing and deodorizing performance.SOLUTION: An air purifying means 5 in a body case 1 has: a tray 6 for storing water； an electrolysis unit 8 for generating electrolytic water from water in the tray 6； and a filter part 9 which is formed into a hollow cylindrical and rotatable shape and is disposed so that a part thereof is immersed in the electrolytic water. An air flow passage 12 for communicating an intake port 2 with a discharge port 3 through the air purifying means 5 is formed so that an approach path 13 from the intake port 2 to the air purifying means 5 and a return path 14 from the air purifying means 5 to the discharge port 3 are separated by a partition wall 15 and the air purifying means 5 becomes a turning point. The partition wall 15 is disposed in parallel with a vertical plane containing a rotary shaft 17 of the filter part 9. A bypass flow passage 18 for bypassing the filter part 9 is arranged just before the upstream side of the filter part 9 and a drive part 16 is arranged so that the water content of the filter part 9 is kept in a saturated state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
