Das Heizelement (4) ist als Infrarotheizung ausgestaltet und weist mindestens eine wärmeabgebende Seitenflache (6a) auf und ist derart in dem Gehäuse (3) eingebracht, dass die wärmeabgebende Seitenfläche (6a) parallel zu der Brutwabe (2) anqeordnet ist. Die Steuereinheit (5) steuert und/oder regelt das Heizelement (4) derart, dass in dem Gehäuse (3) eine vorgegebene Temperatur vorliegt.
