PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent pad easy to apply to a crotch part of a wearer, having excellent wear feeling, and excellent in absorption performance.SOLUTION: An absorbent pad is such that an intermediate sheet 10 is interposed between an upper layer 5 and a lower layer 6, and both of the layers 5 and 6 are joined to the intermediate sheet 10. Both of the layers 5 and 6 are equipped with a central absorber 7, and a pair of side absorbers 8, and have grooves 9 penetrating into both of the layers 5 and 6 in a thickness direction, between the central absorber 7, and each of a pair of the side absorbers 8. The groove 9 of the upper layer 5 and the groove 9 of the lower layer 6 are nearly superposed in a plane view of an absorber 4, and the superposed portion of both of the grooves 9 has an opened end part 91 on both of the side edge parts along a vertical direction X of a front part F, and also has a linear part 92 extending to a crotch part M in the vertical direction X, and the opened end part 91 and the linear part 92 are connected to each other.
